In addition to creating original art, Sherry is a wellness coach, qigong instructor and writer.
She facilitates whole health through her innovative wellness program, HEART, MIND & HANDS, in Mexico, Japan, at the Veterans Administration, Kaiser Permanente, and in private sessions.
Sherry has a deep connection and love for the Island of Maui, where she lived for 16 years. While there, she contributed feature stories and an inspirational column “60. . to Life!” to the Maui Weekly.
Traveling to Japan, beginning in 2002, she became a regular contributor of feature stories to the Japanese magazine, Eye-Ai . On Maui, she was a member of the Japanese Cultural Society and represented the Kumamoto Kenjin Kai singing Japanese karaoke. She won 2nd place in the Senior division in 2008.
Sherry currently resides in Sacramento, California near her wonderful family, where she facilitates healthy lifestyles, follows Sumo wrestling tournaments, studies Spanish, communicates with long-distance friends and travels to see them whenever possible. LIFE IS FILLED WITH GRATITUDE.
